- Total value: $48,000 (paid as $12,000 per year)

Who is eligible
- Must be a student from Nova Scotia. Preference will be given to applicants from Colchester or East Hants counties.
- Must have declared an intent to study medicine.
How to apply
- You do not need a separate scholarship application.
- Submit the general bursary application (available through Self‑Service; it is provided at the time of admission). That bursary application is the required supporting document.
- Deadline: March 1. Make sure your bursary application is submitted by that date.
Renewal requirements (what you must do each year)
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Complete a course load totaling 30 course credits across the fall and winter terms combined.
- Provide yearly verification of financial need by submitting the general bursary application again.
Other important notes
- This award cannot be combined with other scholarships.
