Before you start your application, read these eligibility and submission requirements carefully — think of them as the checklist you’ll need to meet. Eligibility (who can apply) - You must be studying for a degree or certificate in one of the approved fields of study. If you’re unsure whether your program qualifies, ask us before you apply. - You must be enrolled, or planning to enroll, in a manufacturing-related program for the semester covered by this application. - Enrollment status: - Full-time students: 12 or more credit hours. - Part-time students: at least 6 credit hours while also working. - Minimum GPA: - Community, trade, or technical college students: 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). - University students: 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Application submission (what to send and how) 1. Complete and submit the online application. 2. Provide a transcript from the school where you most recently completed a full semester. Accepted delivery methods: - Upload the transcript with your online application, - Mail a hard copy, or - Send electronically via services such as Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse. Important: Only transcripts received with your application or postmarked by the application deadline will be accepted. Plan ahead — late transcripts cannot be considered.
