American Ground Water Trust College Scholarships

If you’re a high school senior planning to study a groundwater-related field (examples: hydrogeology, water treatment, environmental or civil engineering, water law, etc.) and you’ll be enrolling in an accredited 2- or 4‑year college or university, the American Ground Water Trust (AGWT) scholarships are for you. - Selection note: Applicants are considered for all scholarships for which they qualify, but a student may receive only one AGWT scholarship.
- New award: In addition to the scholarships below, AGWT will add an extra $2,500 scholarship beginning in 2025, funded by program supporters and attendee contributions (credit card processing fees).

1) Baroid Scholarship

2) Stetson–Shahroody Scholarship
- Sponsor background: Stetson Engineers provides engineering, legal, and environmental services for water management. This scholarship honors Thomas Stetson and Ali Shahroody for their work in resolving water-resource conflicts and promoting sustainable water management in the Western U.S.

3) Flexcon Industries Scholarship
- Sponsor background: Flexcon Industries (founded by Tom and Joe Swan) is known for innovations in well tanks and continues to support groundwater education through scholarships.
