Grace Cancer Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Grand Island Community Foundation
The establishment of this scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to individuals who are either battling cancer themselves or have an immediate family member (a parent or sibling) who is currently fighting the disease.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, there are several eligibility requirements that applicants must meet:
- The applicant must be 22 years old or younger as of the date of application submission.
- The applicant must have achieved a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- The applicant must have plans to enroll as a full-time student at a two or four-year post-secondary institution located in Nebraska.
- In their personal statement included in the application, the applicant must provide the name of the individual with cancer and the location of the facility where they are receiving treatment.
These criteria are designed to ensure that the scholarship is awarded to deserving students who are directly affected by cancer and are committed to pursuing higher education.
