If you care about clean water, resilient infrastructure, or the economics of public works and you’re a graduate student in Florida, the Florida Stormwater Association Educational Foundation (FSAEF) has a competitive annual scholarship you should know about.
What the scholarship is
- Purpose: To support graduate students who are advancing stormwater management through research, practice, or policy.
- Award: A registration to the FSA Winter Conference (hotel included) plus a cash scholarship of at least $2,000 to outstanding candidates.
- Selection criteria: Academic excellence, professional promise, and a clear commitment to stormwater topics such as water quality, stormwater infrastructure, or stormwater finance.
Who is eligible (quick checklist)
- You are enrolled in a graduate program at a Florida college or university.
- Your degree program is in engineering, the natural sciences, public administration, or a closely related field.
- You can demonstrate interest in stormwater issues (research, coursework, internship, or professional activity).
- You have completed at least one semester of graduate study, are in good academic standing, and plan to enroll full‑time in the upcoming Fall semester. (Full‑time is defined as at least nine graduate credit hours, or whatever your institution designates as full‑time.)
