Arkansas Promise Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Arkansas State University
Eligibility — who can apply
- Graduating from an Arkansas high school in 2026.
- Resident of Arkansas.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder).
- ACT superscore of at least 19 OR an SAT total around 990–1010, and a high school GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Household adjusted gross income (AGI) below $70,000.
- Completed the FAFSA and eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.
- Completed the Arkansas Academic Challenge application and awarded the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship (this scholarship is required to receive Arkansas Promise Plus).
What Arkansas Promise Plus provides
- Renewable for up to four years.
- Pays remaining tuition and mandatory fees (for example, athletic and student activity fees) after federal Pell Grants, state scholarships, and A-State Academic Scholarships are applied.
- Covers up to 15 credit hours per semester.
- Covers housing costs only for the first year.*
- For students living off campus during the first year: a Voluntary Meal Plan (VMP) and $500 in Promise Plus Perks per semester.

2. Make sure you submit the Arkansas Academic Challenge application and track your award status.
3. Confirm your test scores, GPA, residency, and household AGI meet the requirements.
