Scholarship length and eligibility - Scholarships cover up to four years or until you complete your undergraduate degree, whichever comes first. - To be enrolled and active in your scholarship, you must register for at least 12 credit hours each semester. Renewal requirements - Renewal is based on academic progress during the academic year: you must earn 24 credit hours per academic year. - GPA minimums for renewal: - Platinum, Gold, Silver: 3.0 GPA - Bronze and Lion Pride: 2.5 GPA - If you haven’t met the requirements by the end of spring, you may use the summer semester to make up the credits or raise your GPA. - If your scholarship includes a housing stipend, it is valid for Lion’s Den housing for up to four years. How to apply - Your admission application also serves as your application for merit scholarships and many foundation-based scholarships — you don’t need to submit a separate form for those. - Some foundation scholarships do require extra materials (resume, essay, references). For those, an optional, separate scholarship application is available—use it when additional materials are requested. Important dates & deadlines - The 2026–27 Scholarship Application becomes available to eligible candidates in your application portal on Oct. 1, 2025. - Prestigious Scholarship deadline for Fall 2026: Jan. 12, 2026. - Myles Friedman Honors Scholarship preferred deadline: Nov. 15, 2025.
