Honmyo Nguyen Family Trust Scholarship — Santa Clara County students
Purpose
- Established in 2011, this scholarship supports Santa Clara County students who plan to attend a four‑year California public university full‑time and who are committed to tackling tough problems and improving quality of life in Silicon Valley. Awards recognize academic achievement, leadership in school and community activities, and demonstrated financial need.
Award
- Up to $2,500
Who should apply (basic eligibility)
- Current graduating senior or a graduate of a public or private high school in Santa Clara County
- Planning to enroll or already enrolled full‑time at a four‑year California public university (University of California or California State University)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrated financial need
Application period and how to apply
- Application opens: January 1, 2026
- Deadline: April 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PST
