The Arizona Foundation for the Future of Nursing (AzFFN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the charitable division of the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA). The Foundation's financial support is derived from individual gifts, corporate contributions, bequests, recognitions, and memorial donations.

Strengthening Arizona's Nursing Workforce

The AzFFN aims to secure a resilient nursing workforce in Arizona by enhancing and fortifying the ability of Arizona nurses to provide safe, high-quality care, ensuring health and wellness for all residents. To this end, the Foundation offers an array of scholarships.

Both part-time and full-time students are encouraged to apply. As long as the applicant is actively enrolled in a nursing program and will not graduate before the scholarship period, they may apply for each term. Video Application Scholarship Criteria

To continuously fortify a sustainable nursing workforce in Arizona, the AzFFN provides a variety of scholarships. The foundation is currently offering $2500.00 academic scholarships to students enrolled in a prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Eligibility Requirements

• Active enrollment in a prelicensure BSN Nursing Program or Associate Degree in Nursing with concurrent enrollment in a BSN Nursing program
• Completion of at least one semester of the BSN nursing program curriculum
• Membership in the Student Nurses Association
• Submission of a 7-10 minute video response to the content criteria outline (video should be recorded in landscape format with adequate lighting in a quiet location, background should be neutral and devoid of personal visuals such as name or school, videos should exclude distractions like other individuals in the background or excessive noise)
• If chosen for the scholarship award, the recipient must agree to receive the award in person and permit the video to be displayed at the AzNA Convention on September 13, 2025. COMPLETE THE ATTENTION BELOW AND SUBMIT ALONG WITH VIDEO

Attach evidence of current enrollment and completion of one semester of BSN Curriculum:

Application Requirements:

• Submission of current proof of enrollment in a BSN nursing program. This documentation should identify the applicant and school and may include, but is not limited to, a transcript (official or unofficial) or current course schedule,
• Submission of a recommendation letter from a current faculty member in the BSN program vouching for your dedication to leadership and nursing practice.
• If these documents are not attached, the application will be automatically disqualified.
