1) Do I have to attend ICDC to receive a scholarship?
No. Attending ICDC is not required to receive a DECA scholarship.
2) Do I have to be a current DECA member? How do I become one?
Yes — you must be a current DECA member to be eligible. If your school has a DECA chapter, register through the chapter advisor. If you’re not sure whether your school has a chapter, ask your school counselor or contact a DECA advisor.
3) Do I have to be a high school senior to apply?
No. Members from all grade levels — from high school freshmen through Collegiate DECA members — may apply unless a specific scholarship states otherwise. If an application has a grade‑level or collegiate restriction, that will be clearly noted.
