Colorado Prostart Scholarships

The Colorado Restaurant Foundation, in collaboration with Foundation Scholarship Donors, is pleased to offer scholarships to deserving students enrolled in foodservice or hospitality management programs. These scholarships are designed to support those who have shown a significant interest in the foodservice or hospitality industry, as demonstrated by their work experience in the field.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a US citizen or a permanent resident.
- Intend to utilize the scholarship for a foodservice or hospitality related program at an accredited post-secondary institution in Colorado.
- Be enrolled or plan to enroll as a full-time student or a substantial part-time student, taking at least 9 credit hours each term.
- Plan to be enrolled for at least two consecutive semesters in the upcoming academic year.
- Have a minimum of six months of work experience in a related industry.
- Be available to attend the Scholarship Gala in Denver on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, as scholarship recipients are required to be present.
Application Process:
Interested applicants should submit the following:
- A fully completed application form. If a question does not apply to you, please indicate "N/A" (not applicable).
- A 1-2 page resume detailing your academic achievements and work experience.
- Transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended.
- Two letters of recommendation. At least one of these must be from a current or previous employer, attesting to your work ethic and interest in the foodservice or hospitality industry.
