"Minds Under Construction" Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by AGC of Southeast Texas
Annually, the AGC of Southeast Texas generously donates a significant amount of money to local students. We extend scholarship opportunities to students enrolled in the Lamar University Reese Construction Management Program or any other construction-related field.
In addition, AGC opens the door for the children and employees of our members to apply for an AGC Scholarship in any study area at any higher education institution. Regardless of whether you're a freshman just starting out, a senior about to graduate, or a postgraduate student, we ensure all students have an equal chance.
The following eligibility criteria are applicable to all those applying for our scholarships:
- The applicant must be in good academic standing with their college, university, or technical institute.
- The applicant must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or above.
- The applicant must attach a transcript from high school if they are a college freshman, or from the most recent college semester otherwise.
- The applicant must complete the entire application form.
- The applicant must submit the scholarship application along with a letter expressing their interest.
- The applicant must be enrolled for the semester to which the scholarship pertains.
- The applicant must either be affiliated with AGC of Southeast Texas or reside in one of the following Texas counties: Jefferson, Chambers, Hardin, Newton, Liberty, Jasper, Tyler, or Orange.
- If the applicant is an employee or a family member of an AGC member, that member must be in good standing.
