The Abbeville County Farm Bureau ACFB will fund one $1000 to a high school or college student whose intent is to pursue a minimum of a two-year degree. The scholarship applicant must be a child or a grandchild of an active ACFB member.
Applications will be considered in the following areas, in order of importance:
- Previous and current agricultural background and related activities. Applicable activities include, but are not limited to: farming or other agriculture, jobs related to agriculture, animal projects, FFA, 4-H, natural resources, and wildlife.
- College degree or coursework sought, related to agriculture.
- High school or previous scholastic achievement.
Abbeville County Farm Bureau Educational Scholarship: One $1,000 scholarship
- Parent or grandparent must have Abbeville County Farm Bureau membership
- High school or college student pursuing at least a two-year degree in an agriculture or ag-related major
- Application deadline: May 30; recipients will be notified by July 30
