Who may apply

- The scholarship is open to:
- graduating high school seniors, or
- current college students (undergraduate or graduate)
pursuing an agricultural or ag‑related major.
- Minimum academic requirement: a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). A certified copy of your most recent transcript must be included with your application.
Award details and renewal
- Amount: $1,000, awarded annually.
- Payment: The scholarship will be credited toward the recipient’s tuition, books, and lab fees at an accredited two‑ or four‑year college or graduate institution.
- Renewal: The scholarship may be renewed for one or more additional years, but renewal requires re‑application and committee approval. You must continue to meet the eligibility and GPA requirements.
Selection process
- Recipients are chosen on the basis of character, demonstrated leadership, and dedication to agriculture or related fields.
- Selection is made by a committee from another South Carolina Farm Bureau county, following guidelines set by the Beaufort County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
- Only applicants who meet the program criteria will be considered. The committee’s decision is final.
