Idaho FFA Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Idaho FFA Foundation
Here’s a clearer, teacher-friendly rewrite you can use. I organized it into a brief overview, timeline, scholarship list, eligibility/requirements, and a short application checklist and tips. Note: I spotted an outdated date (Nov 30, 2021) in the original — I flagged that below. Please confirm final deadlines on growidahoffa.org.
Overview
- The Idaho FFA Foundation Scholarship application for the 2025–2026 academic year is open to active and alumni members of Idaho FFA chapters. You complete one application and select which scholarships on that application you want to be considered for. Some scholarships are open to both high school seniors and current college students—check each scholarship’s eligibility details on growidahoffa.org.
Key dates (please verify on the website)
- Applications open: September 24, 2025
- Application deadline (posted): December 6, 2025
- Note: the original text included “November 30, 2021” for submission; that appears to be an old or incorrect date. Confirm the current deadline on the scholarship page before submitting.

- Meridian Dairy Days: 22 × $1,000

Eligibility and requirements (summary)
- Must be an active or alumni member of an Idaho FFA chapter.
- Minimum GPA: 2.0.
- Scholarships are for students enrolling in a post-secondary undergraduate program (college, university, technical school).
- Recipients must enroll as a full-time student within 12 months of selection. Exceptions to extend to 24 months may be granted in writing for religious, military, or official FFA officer commitments; other extension requests are reviewed case-by-case.
- Scholarship funds are paid directly to the institution after proof of enrollment is provided.
- You may apply to any and all scholarships for which you meet the criteria, but only one scholarship will be awarded per recipient.
Required application materials (must be submitted)
- Completed application form with all required signatures.
- Official transcript: high school record to date or college record to date.
- One letter of recommendation.
- A recent digital photo of the applicant wearing their FFA jacket (this is required).
- Note: Applications missing a transcript or letter of recommendation will not be considered.
A few practical tips (from a teacher)
- Have a teacher, advisor, mentor, or parent proofread your application — points can be deducted for grammatical errors.
- Read each scholarship’s eligibility page carefully (growidahoffa.org/scholarships → “scholarship eligibility”) so you don’t apply where you’re not eligible.
- Keep copies of everything you submit and note the website’s deadline and any submission confirmation emails.
If you’d like, I can turn this into a printable checklist or a short form letter you can share with students and parents.
