Dear students, I am pleased to announce that the Idaho FFA Foundation Scholarship Application for the academic year 2024-2025 will commence on September 25, 2024, and conclude on December 6, 2024. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with the various scholarships available and their respective eligibility criteria. You will be required to complete a single application and select the scholarships you wish to apply for. Please note that only active or alumni members of an Idaho FFA chapter are eligible to apply.

The scholarships available are as follows:

• Meridian Dairy Days: 21 scholarships of $1000 each
• Idaho Wheat Commission: 2 scholarships of $1000 each
• Idaho FFA Foundation Raffle: 27 scholarships of $1000 each
• Betaseed: 2 scholarships of $1000 each
• D&B Supply: 2 scholarships of $1000 each
• J.A. Wedum Foundation: 5 scholarships of $2999 each
• Tami Earll Daniel Memorial: 1 scholarship of $1000
• Dairy West: 5 scholarships of $2000 each
• Houck Farms: 1 scholarship of $1000 and 1 scholarship of $500

Eligibility Criteria

Each scholarship has its unique set of requirements. I urge you to visit growidahoffa.org/scholarships and click on the 'scholarship eligibility' button to understand the specific requirements for each scholarship.

However, there are some common prerequisites for all scholarship applications:

• Applicants must be current Idaho FFA members with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Scholarship awardees must enroll as full-time students at a post-secondary institution within 12 months of scholarship selection to receive the scholarship. Exceptions to extend this time period for up to 24 months may be granted upon written request to accommodate religious, military, FFA state or national officer commitments. Other requests will be reviewed on an individual basis. All scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution after proof of enrollment is received. Specific instructions will be sent to all scholarship recipients.
• Scholarships are available to students enrolling in a post-secondary education undergraduate program at a college, university, or technical school. You may apply for as many scholarships as you are eligible for but only one scholarship will be awarded per recipient.
• Applicants must include a recent digital photo in which they are wearing their FFA jacket. This is a mandatory requirement to receive a scholarship!
• Completed application with all required signatures, along with an official transcript of high school record to date, or college record to date, and 1 letter of recommendation, must be submitted on or before November 30th, 2021. Applications will not be considered without a transcript and letter of recommendation.
• It is highly recommended to have a teacher, advisor, mentor or parent review your application for grammatical errors. Points will be deducted from application scores for grammatical errors.
