Good news for students with an interest in the beef industry: the Illinois Beef Foundation is offering scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year. The Foundation looks to support promising young people who are committed to beef production and who want to pursue higher education. Here’s how it works: - Eligibility: Applicants must be either a high school senior or a full‑time college student, and must come from a family that is an IBA member actively involved in beef production. - Scholarship categories: Awards are given in two categories — Junior (for high school seniors) and Senior (for full‑time college students). - Limit on awards: An individual may receive Foundation scholarships a maximum of two times — once as a Junior recipient and once as a Senior recipient.
