Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
Scholarship Sponsored by Hispanic Heritage Foundation
Established in 1998 by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, the Youth Awards are now in their 26th year of recognizing and honoring Latinx high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional performance in both academic and community settings. The awards celebrate excellence across a range of categories, including Community Service, Education, Engineering, Entrepreneurship & Business, Green Sustainability, Healthcare & Science, Media & Entertainment, Public Service & Social Justice, and Technology.
In each category, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards are given. Recipients receive a one-time grant, which can be used to support their college education or to fund a community service project aimed at addressing a social issue. Once chosen, the awardees are honored in 10 virtual ceremonies and are welcomed into the expansive HHF network, which comprises over 200,000 professionals. This initiates our unique cycle of leadership, where we strive to meet America's educational and workforce priorities.
The Youth Awards program serves as the primary conduit to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's talent system. This system, through the award-winning Latinos On Fast Track (LOFT) program, prepares and positions Latinx youth for success as they transition from high school to college, graduate school, and eventually their careers. You can stay updated with LOFT's activities on Facebook, X, and Instagram.
As of now, the application process for the 2025 Youth Awards has concluded. All recipients have been personally contacted and notified.
