Close your eyes for a moment and picture yourself 20 years from now. Do you see yourself arguing a case in a courtroom, standing over an operating table, or running a business that changes lives? Whatever you imagine, those big futures don’t happen by accident — they start with a plan, steady effort, and the right first steps. Tronfeld West & Durrett wants to help with one of those first steps. We’re proud to offer the Tronfeld West & Durrett Step by Step Scholarship to five motivated students. Each winner will receive a $1,500 award to help move toward their goals. How to apply - Submit either a short video (3–5 minutes) or a written essay. - Address these questions: - What are your dreams and goals for the next 5, 10, and 20 years? - What concrete steps will you take to reach those goals? - What do you plan to study or do in college? - What challenges do you expect, and how will you overcome them? - How will this Step-by-Step Scholarship help you take your first big step? - Be specific and honest — but also creative. No goal is too big. - If you submit a video, include a link to your YouTube video with your application. If you submit an essay, include the full text. Who can apply - Open to any high school senior or current college student in Virginia. - Applicant must be enrolled (or planning to enroll) in a two- to five-year institution for the upcoming school year. - No minimum GPA required. - You do NOT have to be planning to attend law school to qualify.
