Quick version: Duck Brand is celebrating the 26th Stuck At Prom Scholarship Contest. Join more than 8,500 students who’ve made original promwear from Duck Brand Duct Tape and Duck Brand Crafting Tape for a chance to win scholarship prizes. How the contest works — three simple steps 1) Create - Design and wear original promwear made primarily with Duck Brand duct tape and/or Duck Brand crafting tape. - You may incorporate other materials, but the outfit must be your own design and must be either a complete dress (Dress category) or a complete tuxedo (jacket, shirt, and pants) with any accessories. - Take at least one high-resolution photo of yourself wearing the finished outfit. Keep the location and style of the photo up to you. 2) Submit - Complete the entry form and upload at least one photo of you in your Duck Tape promwear. If you’re under 18, you’ll need a parent or guardian to sign the photography release. - After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation email. 3) Vote - If you want to follow the contest and vote, opt in with your email to be notified who makes the top 10 so you can cast a vote. Eligibility (who may enter) - Open to legal residents physically located in the United States (including D.C., Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories and possessions) excluding Maryland, Colorado, Nebraska, and North Dakota; and to legal residents of Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec. - Entrants must be at least 14 years old and enrolled in high school or a high-school-level home school program during the 2025–2026 school year. - Anyone who was a Finalist in a previous Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest is not eligible. - Void outside the Eligibility Area and where prohibited. - Ineligible persons include employees, directors, officers, immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their spouses) and household members of the Sponsor, Sponsor’s affiliates/subsidiaries/divisions, and any advertising or promotion agencies or others associated with the contest. How to enter — important rules - Entry is by individual only (one person per entry). - The prom attire must be: - Either a complete dress (Dress Category) or a complete tuxedo including jacket, shirt, and pants (Tux Category), plus accessories; - Made using Duck Brand duct tape and/or Duck Brand crafting tape (other materials may be incorporated); - An original creation that has not previously won an award or contest; - Not based on or copying third-party work unless you have permission (failure to obtain necessary permission can lead to disqualification). - You must submit at least one photo that clearly shows you wearing the Duck Tape prom attire. The location for the photo is your choice. - Family and friends may help you create the outfit; paid professionals may not participate. A few teacher tips - Start early, sketch your design, and test tape techniques on scraps. - Practice wearing and moving in the outfit before taking photos so your pictures show the best version of your work. - Read the official rules in full before you build to make sure you meet every requirement.
