Kids' Chance of Georgia Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Kids' Chance of Georgia
Kids’ Chance of Georgia provides educational scholarships to the children of Georgia workers who have been seriously, catastrophically or fatally injured in work-related accidents. Our general scholarships are $2,000 per semester ($4,000 per academic year). We also provide scholarships to high school students that are $100 per month during the academic year.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a parent or guardian who has been seriously, catastrophically, or fatally injured in a work-related accident
- Meet the criteria of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Act and resulting in financial need
- Between 16-25 years old
- Enrolled as a full-time student in a post-secondary school (university, technical school, etc.)
- Funding will not exceed five academic years or 10 semesters
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0
