Overview This scholarship — Navigate Your Future — is for high school seniors who intend to pursue further study in the general aviation field. The goal is straightforward: provide financial support and encouragement to students who plan careers in general aviation. Who should apply You should consider applying if you: - Are a high school senior planning a career in general aviation. - Are enrolled in, or have been accepted to, an aviation-related program at an accredited college or university. - Can provide the college/university acceptance letter as part of your application. - Can show a genuine interest in pursuing a career in general aviation. Award - One scholarship of $2,500 is awarded each year. - The money is intended for one year of full-time undergraduate study. How to apply (deadline and required materials) Complete the application and submit it no later than the last Friday in June, including all of the following: - High school transcript (upload) - Letter of recommendation - Letter of acceptance from the college or university - Personal statement that explains: - your career goals in general aviation, - your education plan and flight training goals, and - at least two reasons why you should be chosen for this scholarship A quick checklist for applicants: transcript, recommendation, acceptance letter, and a focused personal statement.
