Mission
Our goal is simple: encourage Native Hawaiians to pursue careers in STEM and technology. We want to support students as they build the skills and experience needed for those fields.
What the scholarship provides
- A recurring award of $1,000 per year, paid each year until you graduate.
- The Paubox Kahikina Scholarship is a registered 501(c)(3); donations are tax-deductible.
Who should apply
- Native Hawaiian students
- Majoring in a STEM or technology-related program
- Enrolled at an accredited college or university
What we expect from recipients
- Recipients agree to publish an annual update about their college journey. This can be a short written post, a brief video, or another simple form of content sharing your progress and experiences.
Important 2026 dates (mark your calendar)
- February 12 — Zoom social mixer, 4:00–5:30 PM PT
- May 28 — Zoom social mixer, 4:00–5:30 PM PT
- Apply by the end of May (application window closes at the end of the month)
- August 13 — Zoom social mixer, 4:00–5:30 PM PT
- December 29 — 7th annual winter networking event (Honolulu, HI)
