If you’re planning a career in the electrical trades and will be attending a Maine school in Fall 2025, read this carefully — Seacoast Security is offering help. What this is - Seacoast Security will award two $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing an electrical occupation (degree or program) at a Maine school. The company’s goal is to support the next generation of technicians and electricians who protect homes and businesses. Who is eligible - High school seniors or college students who are either enrolled full time or have been accepted full time into a Maine school program for an electrical occupation beginning Fall 2025. - United States resident. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. How to apply - Apply online (follow the application link provided by Seacoast Security). - Applications must demonstrate that you meet the eligibility requirements above. Important dates and selection - Application deadline: April 30, 2025. - Two recipients will be chosen by the Seacoast Security scholarship committee, which will review applications and confirm they followed the application instructions. Award details - Each scholarship is $1,000. - Payment will be made directly to the school on the winner’s behalf. - Scholarship recipients must submit the required payment information to Karma Haynes at Seacoast Security. A few practical tips (from a teacher) - Confirm full-time enrollment or acceptance for Fall 2025 before submitting. - Have your GPA documentation ready. - Follow the application directions exactly — the committee will check for that.
