Community Impact Scholarship

Students — take note of a scholarship opportunity that rewards community service and leadership.
Background: For 30 years the Law Firm of Jerry D. Andrews, P.C., based in Dallas, has represented victims of personal injury and wrongful death with both skill and compassion. Attorney Andrews believes strongly in the value of community. To recognize young people who give their time and energy to help others, his office is offering a scholarship.
The award: One $2,500 Community Impact Scholarship for an undergraduate student who has made a meaningful difference in their community through volunteer work.
Who can apply? You are eligible if you meet all of the following:
- Actively involved in community service
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities
- Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Are an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university (incoming or current graduate students are not eligible)
- Are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Are at least 18 years old at the time you submit your application — this age requirement overrides any reference to a 16-year minimum on the digital application form
