Beth Weinstein Memorial Scholarship

I am pleased to announce that graduating female seniors of Jewish faith from CCSD Nevada are eligible to apply for a unique scholarship opportunity. This scholarship is specifically designed for those who are planning to pursue a major in science, math, engineering, social science, or a health-related field at an accredited post-secondary college or university. The successful applicant will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
Before the scholarship funds are disbursed, verification of college enrollment will be required. This can be provided in the form of a class schedule during the summer before the academic year begins. The scholarship funds are intended to be used towards tuition, fees, and other relevant educational expenses. The total amount will be divided into two equal payments and disbursed over two semesters.
Additional Application Requirements
As part of the application process, we ask that you provide the following:
- A description of your Jewish background, education, and identification.
- An essay titled "Why are you focused on a science, math, engineering, social science, or a health-related major?"
- Your most current resume.
- Your most recent transcript (unofficial copies are acceptable).
- A letter of recommendation from someone who can vouch for your determination and ability to succeed.
- A second letter of recommendation from any source other than a peer or relative.
