We’re passionate about quality patient care and committed to helping aspiring nurses pursue higher education and make an impact on the lives of patients. Of course, we’re particularly fond of travel nurses – and proud that our clinicians are some of the best in the industry! That’s why it’s important to us to inspire and assist future nurses like you. Do you have a love for adventure and trying new things? If so, travel nursing might just be in your future.

Whether you’re already attending nursing school or were just accepted, we encourage you to apply for the Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship. Each year, up to ten (10) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to nursing students chosen by Aya’s selection committee comprised of seasoned nurse leaders on Aya’s clinical services team.

Who is eligible for the Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship?

Full-time nursing students, or those with proof of acceptance to a nursing program at an accredited institution in the U.S., who:

• Are in good academic standing with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Are involved in extracurricular organizations and/or volunteer work
• Are passionate about patient care and a career in healthcare

How do I apply?

Gather the following items:

1. Current GPA (high school or college unofficial transcripts)
2. Acceptance letter to an accredited nursing school
3. List of extracurricular memberships/organizations
4. Description of any volunteer work you’ve done
5. Scholarly awards/honors
6. A 500-word essay that answers the following questions:

• What aspects of nursing are you looking forward to most?
• Where do you see yourself professionally in five years?
• What goals do you have for your nursing career?
• Bonus question for overachievers: Why are you considering travel nursing with Aya Healthcare?

What is the deadline and when will I find out if I’m selected?

Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship applications may be submitted year-round. The application deadline for 2024 scholarship awards is Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PT. Recipients of 2024 awards will be notified on or around Friday, January 31, 2025. We look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to see what impact you’ll make as a nurse!
