Perfecting The Craft Scholarship

The annual Perfecting The Craft scholarship, a $500 grant, is aimed at supporting students in their journey to becoming experts in their chosen fields. The scholarship is intended to inspire students to think deeply about their desired contribution to the world and the steps they are taking to acquire the required skills.

Red Label invites students to share a glimpse of their craft. We want to see what drives your passion and how you are honing your skills. Submissions could be in any form of media (photos, videos, audios, slideshows, etc.). Regardless of the medium, submissions should include a note explaining the student's plan to perfect their craft. Supplementary written explanations are allowed with other forms of submissions such as images if necessary.

Scholarship Eligibility & Criteria

The scholarship is open to all U.S. citizens who are enrolling or studying full-time at a college, university, or trade school in the U.S. Applicants are required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must fill out a scholarship application form and submit a piece that expresses their passion. The following documents should be emailed to outreach@fintechabrasives.com by August 15th:

• Filled out scholarship application form
• Verified copy of academic transcripts
• A written or media presentation of your craft

Scholarship Award

• The winner of the annual Perfecting The Craft Scholarship will receive $500, which is to be exclusively used for tuition and related educational costs at a college, university, or trade school.
• The $500 award will be issued via a check payable to the recipient’s educational institution.
• The application period for the scholarship concludes on August 15th. The recipient will be notified by September 7th.
• Students will maintain full rights to their submissions. Red Label Abrasives will request permission to share the submission content, student's name, student's school, and/or photos on the company's website and social media platforms.

Scholarship Submission Deadline

The submission deadline is August 15th. All scholarship application materials must be emailed to outreach@fintechabrasives.com by the close of the day on August 15th. Submissions received after the deadline will not be reviewed for the current year but may be considered for the following year’s scholarship.
