Jenner Ag Scholarship — for Illinois and Indiana students pursuing an agriculture degree
Who is eligible
- High school seniors and college students through their junior year who are from Illinois or Indiana and who are pursuing a degree in agriculture.
Award details
- Scholarship amounts vary from year to year. (See 2025 information here.)
- Applications must be postmarked by July 31.
- Scholarships are typically awarded by August 31.
How to apply
1. Complete the Jenner Ag Scholarship Application (see form below).
2. Attach the required documents listed below and mail them so they are postmarked by July 31.
Required attachments (submit with your application)
- Official academic transcripts showing courses completed and your cumulative GPA.
- A typed essay, no longer than 2 pages, that describes:
- your academic accomplishments and the motivation behind them, and
- relevant activities such as professional organizations, extracurriculars, work experience, community service, awards, and any special circumstances that have affected your studies.

- Use the essay to tell a clear, honest story about your interests and goals in agriculture.
- Proofread both your application and essay; neatness and clarity matter.
- Confirm that transcripts are marked “official” if that is required and that they include your GPA.
