If you care about engineering and want to see the next generation succeed, the ACEC New York Scholarship Fund is worth your attention. The council created this statewide program to reward outstanding students, encourage careers in engineering and surveying, and help New York retain promising talent. Since 2002 the program has awarded more than $1.4 million to over 460 high‑achieving students at New York colleges and universities. Who should apply - The scholarship is offered each fall. - Eligible students are third‑year students in a four‑year program or fourth‑year students in a five‑year program. - Your major must be in an engineering or surveying field, for example: - Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil, Environmental, Chemical - Engineering Technology, Surveying, Ceramics Engineering - You may receive an ACEC New York scholarship only once. - Applicants must be U.S. citizens or U.S. residents and intend to remain in New York State after graduation to begin their careers here. How to apply 1. Complete the online application form on the ACEC New York website. 2. Follow the instructions there to submit any required supporting documents. 3. Recommendation Forms A and B must be completed through the website — share the recommendation link with the people you ask to recommend you. Want to learn more quickly?
