Kentucky Optometry Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority
The Optometry Scholarship initiative offers qualified residents of Kentucky the chance to study at a participating optometry school, with the aim of becoming certified professionals who provide medical services to the Commonwealth.
Eligibility Criteria
For a student to be eligible for the Optometry Scholarship, they must meet the following criteria:
- Hold U.S. citizenship.
- Reside in Kentucky.
- Be enrolled or have acceptance for enrollment in a participating institution's program that culminates in a doctor of optometry degree.
- Students can apply for the scholarship before receiving acceptance for enrollment. However, it is advised that applicants secure acceptance at a participating institution before the December 1 deadline.
- Have no outstanding financial obligations to KHEAA or any Title IV program.

- Kentucky College of Optometry
- Indiana University College of Optometry
- Southern College of Optometry
