AIWA Scholarship Awards
Scholarship Sponsored by Armenian International Women's Association
AIWA scholarships provide a unique opportunity for donors to remember loved ones while at the same time providing much-needed financial assistance and recognition to young women preparing for their careers and professions. Beginning in 1997, with the establishment of the Agnes Missirian Scholarship Endowment, over 200 scholarships have been awarded to full-time female students of Armenian descent attending accredited colleges or universities in countries all over the world. Students entering their junior or senior year in college, as well as graduate students, are eligible to apply. Awards are based on financial need and merit. Scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year will open at the end of January 2025. Awards are announced in late May/early June. Scholarship awards are funded from endowments and from donations over one or many years.

- Junior or senior status or graduate student
- For California residents only: Sophomores level or above are invited to apply and must be enrolled in a U.S.-accredited college or university.

- Official Copy of University/College Transcripts
- Two Letters of Recommendation
