Linly Heflin Scholarships provide financial support specifically for Alabama women pursuing degrees at Alabama colleges and universities.
A little background: since 1919, our supporters have helped thousands of Alabama women move toward brighter futures. We believe education opens doors, and we continue to invest in women who want to move upward and ahead.
Who is eligible to apply?
To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a woman who is a U.S. citizen and a resident of Alabama.
- Be attending or planning to attend a four‑year Alabama college or university accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
- Have an ACT composite score of at least 23 (superscoring may be used).
- Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.2.
- Graduate from an accredited Alabama public high school (SACS CASI), a private school licensed by the Alabama State Department of Education, or be homeschooled.
