Here’s a clear summary of the PSTAP scholarship opportunities and the eligibility rules you need to know.
Scholarship awards
- Three scholarships will be awarded for the academic year:
- The Robert T. Zaleski Memorial Scholarship: $3,000
- Two additional scholarships: $2,000 each
Who may apply (eligibility)
- You must be an undergraduate student, enrolled full-time at a college or university in Pennsylvania.
- You must have completed at least 60 credit hours.
- You must be a declared Accounting major.
- You must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
How recipients are chosen
- Awards are competitive and based primarily on high academic merit.
- The selection committee may also consider leadership potential, extracurricular activities, and financial need when deciding winners.
Award logistics
- Scholarships are awarded in December.
- Funds are intended to offset educational costs and related expenses (examples: tuition, housing, books).
- Payments will be issued jointly to the student and the student’s college or university.
