Overview
The Balams Firm partners with our community to recognize talent and reward hard work. The Balams Firm Scholarship exists to help deserving students afford college and move closer to their potential.
The award
- One (1) scholarship of $2,500 will be awarded through the application process.
- The scholarship check will be mailed directly to the recipient’s college or university.
Who is eligible
To be considered, an applicant must meet all of the following:
- Be a legal resident of the United States
- Live in the Atlanta metropolitan area
- Be actively planning to enroll full time at an accredited college or university for the upcoming school year
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher or school administrator
- Submit an official high school transcript
How to apply / current status
- Completed application materials could be submitted by the methods listed on the application. (Note: submissions are now closed.)

Important dates
- Deadline: Application and all supporting materials must be received by February 7. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- Notification: The scholarship recipient will be notified no later than April 1. All decisions are final.
