NJSGA Caddie Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by New Jersey State Golf Association
The New Jersey Golf Caddie Scholarship is an opportunity open to eligible candidates who have served as caddies at any participating New Jersey Golf club for a minimum of two seasons. It is mandatory for the applicants to be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at an institution that is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
The Caddie Scholarship Foundation is currently welcoming applications for the academic year of 2026-2027. The deadline for submission is October 15, 2025.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The selection process for the NJ Golf Caddie Scholarship is conducted by a dedicated committee. The committee evaluates each application based on the following criteria:
- Academic performance: The applicant's scholastic achievements and academic record are considered.
- Financial need: The applicant's financial situation and need for assistance are taken into account.
- Character and leadership qualities: The applicant's personal attributes, including their character and leadership skills, are assessed.
- Club's financial support of the Foundation: The financial contribution of the applicant's club to the Foundation is also considered.
