## Eligibility
**Who may apply**
Applicants must be at least 18 years old when awards are disbursed and must be U.S. legal residents or otherwise authorized to work in the 50 states and D.C. Candidates should plan to enroll, or already be enrolled, in an accredited two- or four-year undergraduate program for the upcoming academic year and must be pursuing a Culinary Arts degree or a closely related discipline (examples: Culinary Science, Baking and Pastry Arts, Nutrition and Food Business Management, Hospitality Management). Applicants must also agree to take part in at least one professional development opportunity provided by US Foods. Certain individuals—such as US Foods employees, related corporate affiliates, contractors, marketing agencies, legal counsel, and immediate family members or household members of those groups—are excluded from eligibility.
