The Feeding Tomorrow Fund is a remarkable initiative that annually bestows scholarships to students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in various disciplines within the fascinating field of food science. General Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
- The applicant should be planning to enroll as a full-time freshman student pursuing an undergraduate degree in the science of food at a U.S. or international university for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The application window for First-Year Scholarships commences on January 5, 2024, and concludes on February 26, 2024.
- Feeding Tomorrow Fund Freshman Scholarships: Multiple awards of $1,500 each are available. To be eligible for an undergraduate Feeding Tomorrow scholarship, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate program that has received approval from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
- Feeding Tomorrow Fund Gateway Scholarship Program: Multiple awards of $1,500 each are available. To be eligible for an undergraduate Feeding Tomorrow scholarship, students should not be enrolled in an IFT-approved undergraduate program. Any program not listed on the IFT-approved program list will be considered acceptable. All other general eligibility criteria will apply.
