ScholarSHPE — clear, friendly summary and next steps Who ScholarSHPE supports - Graduating high school seniors starting a STEM undergraduate program at a community college or 4‑year university. - Undergraduates at any year who are enrolled full‑time in a STEM program at a community college or 4‑year university. - Students or professionals pursuing technical certificates or graduate‑level professional education through select partner institutions. - Graduate students working toward a master’s or doctoral degree in a STEM field at an accredited university. When scholarships are awarded - Spring cycle: application opens in February and funds the upcoming fall semester. - Fall cycle: application opens in September and funds the upcoming spring semester. Early‑bird bonus Submit your application within the first two weeks of the application window and you’ll be automatically entered in a raffle to win a free National Convention registration. How to apply for the 2025–2026 year - Important date: the next application period opens February 14, 2025, for awards that fund the fall 2025 semester. - Step 1 — Review available scholarships: look through the list of awards to see which match your background and goals. - Step 2 — Complete the ScholarSHPE Common Application: this single application lets you apply to multiple scholarships without re‑starting each one. - Keep checking the scholarship page weekly during the application window for new opportunities. Once you’ve created a Common Application, you’ll also receive notifications as new scholarships are added. Minimum eligibility requirements (apply only if you meet these) - Active SHPE member (see the SHPE membership page to join or renew). - Minimum cumulative GPA: 2.5 (as shown on your most recent transcript). - Plan to pursue a STEM degree. - Plan to enroll at an accredited two‑year or four‑year college or university in the United States for the 2025–2026 academic year (includes all U.S. territories).
