First Bank Corp. Business Scholarship — clear summary and requirements

Overview
This is a competitive scholarship for students who show strong academics and proven leadership both inside and outside school. If you plan to take on leadership roles on campus and intend to earn a business degree in the College of Business and Industry at UAFS, this scholarship is one to consider.

How to apply
- Submit a complete Application for Admission to UAFS.
- Submit the scholarship application (in addition to the admission application).

Who should apply (minimum eligibility)
- ACT: 27
- High school GPA: 3.5
- Intending to pursue a business degree in the College of Business and Industry at UAFS

Renewal requirements (what you must do to keep the award)
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative UAFS GPA.
- Enroll in 15 credit hours each semester and complete 30 credit hours per academic year.

Award amounts and duration
- Full tuition and fees paid for up to four years, or until degree completion—whichever comes first.
- Optional housing award: $2,500 per year for up to two years.

Housing rules (important)
- If you choose not to use the housing portion in the first year, you forfeit the entire housing award.
- The housing benefit must be used in consecutive years in order to continue receiving it.
- Housing application deadline: March 15.

Important note for current students
You must meet the renewal criteria listed in your scholarship contract. If you change your major away from the College of Business and Industry, you may lose all or part of your award.
