In line with our commitment to celebrate exceptional Oklahomans and foster educational growth, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame presents three unique scholarship opportunities. These include the Oklahoma Scholarship Competition, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Scholarship, and the Lee Allan Smith Oklahoma Legacy Award. Each year, we distribute over $770,000 in scholarships, recognizing and applauding remarkable civic leadership and academic excellence.

AmericanMuscle's Student Scholarships

Twice a year, we award a $2,500 scholarship to students pursuing a major with an automotive focus. One scholarship is granted each spring semester, with an additional scholarship awarded each fall semester.

Our Scholarship Program:

We provide two scholarships annually, each worth $2,500, to currently enrolled students or high school seniors who are pursuing higher education. This scholarship is ongoing and is available for both the spring and fall semesters each year.

Students with exceptional drive and ambition are encouraged to submit a 700-1500 word essay detailing who they are and how they plan to use their automotive education to inspire positive change and innovation within the custom car industry. All entries must be submitted as a PDF or Microsoft Word document and must include proof of current enrollment in an accredited United States college or university.

Essays must be submitted by 12:00PM EST on October 15th for spring semester applicants and by June 15th for fall applicants. The scholarships will be paid directly to the school as a tuition payment. Winners will be selected by November 15th for spring applicants and by July 15th for fall applicants.

Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship program is open to full-time students currently enrolled in an American or Canadian college, Automotive Engineering programs, Trade schools, technical institutes, or high school seniors planning to attend a college or post-secondary institution.

While the AmericanMuscle Student Scholarships are non-renewable, previous winners may reapply in future contests by writing and submitting a new essay. However, only one essay per student, per semester is permitted.

Please note that these scholarships are specifically for students pursuing an automotive degree or a related field of study.
