About John Joseph Brandlin
John Joseph Brandlin (1913–2010) co‑founded QueensCare in 1998 with Arthur W. Barron to provide free and low‑cost healthcare to low‑income residents of Los Angeles County. A strong believer in education, he was a four‑year scholarship recipient at the University of Illinois, later attended USC Law, and practiced law in Los Angeles for 50 years. The scholarship fund reflects his commitment to education and community health.
