The Darrell Burnham Memorial Scholarship provides an annual award to a deserving graduating student from Forrest, Jones, or Lamar County who plans to major in mathematics or engineering. Preference is given to applicants headed to Mississippi State University or the University of Southern Mississippi. The scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Darrell Burnham to support and encourage students pursuing these fields.
