National Jewish Committee Eagle Scout Scholarships

You’ve reached the pinnacle of your Scouting life, and we want to recognize your hard work not just as a Scout, but as a Jewish Scout. Compared to other major faith groups, very few Jewish Scouts achieve the Eagle rank. Therefore, the National Jewish Committee on Scouting offers letters of congratulations and a certificate to Jewish Eagle Scouts to acknowledge all of your hard work.
The National Jewish Committee on Scouting will award scholarships to Eagle Scouts who best meet these qualifications. To be eligible you must:
- Be a registered, active member of a Boy Scout troop, Varsity Scout team, or Venturing crew.
- Have received the Eagle Scout Award.
- Be an active member of a synagogue and possess the Ner Tamid or Etz Chaim religious emblem.
- Have demonstrated practical citizenship in your synagogue, school, Scouting unit, and community.
- Be enrolled in an accredited high school and in your final year at the time of selection. Exception: Scouts whose Eagle Scout boards of review are held the same year of their high school graduation may apply in that calendar year.
