Required Steps to Apply

Application for admission to Furman automatically serves as the application for merit-based scholarships; no separate scholarship application is required. Applicants should complete a full admission file to ensure scholarship consideration, including transcripts and counselor documentation. Timely submission of materials and correct selection of application plans support accurate review.

Complete an Application: Submit the Common Application or the Coalition/SCOIR Application online. There is no application fee.

Choose Your Application Plan: Select Early Decision (I or II), Early Action, or Regular Decision according to your timeline and commitments.

Submit an Official High School Transcript: Request an official transcript from your high school; counselors may upload it via the Common or Coalition application.

Submit Your School Report: Confirm with your school counselor that the School Report has been completed; this provides context about your school’s courses and programs.
