Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is available to students with ties to Middle Tennessee who are pursuing undergraduate study in Business, Education, or STEM at a nonprofit, four-year college or university. Eligible applicants include graduating high school seniors, individuals who obtain a GED by June 1, and current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Applicants must demonstrate financial need using a 1040 tax return, meet minimum academic thresholds (ACT score of 21 and GPA of 2.5), and intend to enroll full-time the following fall. Applicants must have graduated from a high school located within Middle Tennessee’s 40 counties.
Eligibility: Candidates must satisfy the academic, geographic, and financial requirements outlined below to be considered for the award.
- Be a graduating high school senior, an individual who obtained a GED by June 1st, or a college freshman, sophomore, or junior
- Demonstrate financial need via 1040 tax return
- Graduate from any high school in Middle Tennessee’s 40 counties
- Pursue a Business, Education or STEM degree at a 4-year, non-profit college or university
- Receive a minimum score of 21 on the ACT and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Enroll full-time next fall
- Geographic eligibility is limited to Middle Tennessee’s 40 counties
