Titus County Fair Scholarships

Scholarship Sponsored by Titus County Fair

Annually, the Titus County Fair Association takes great pride in awarding scholarships to a deserving male and female graduate residing in Titus County. These scholarships, valued at $3000 each, are designed to support the recipients' pursuit of higher education at a college, university, or trade school. This year, we are delighted to announce the addition of two more scholarships, each worth $2000, for the third and fourth place candidates. The selection of these fortunate recipients will be merit-based, as determined by the esteemed Out of County Judging Committee.

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants are evaluated based on a set of criteria that includes:

• Their high school academic performance
• Eligibility for admission to a college or university
• Demonstrated leadership in school and community activities
• Participation in the Titus County Fair
• Financial need
• Character
• Future aspirations

Application Process

Interested students can access and print the application form from the Online Application site. Along with the completed application, each applicant is required to attach:

• A small photograph
• Their high school transcript
• A statement outlining their college and career plans. This should include any personal or biographical information that the applicant believes would be of interest to the selection committee.

Information for Scholarship Recipients

Each scholarship will be disbursed directly to the student in two installments. The first installment will be released upon proof of registration for a minimum of 12 hours at a college or university. The second installment will be released upon proof of completion of a 12-hour semester with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and registration for a second semester with a minimum of 12 hours. Recipients will have two years from their graduation date to claim their awards. For instance, winners in 2025 who graduate in May of 2026 will have until the Spring Semester of 2028 to utilize their scholarship.
