Montana 4-H Foundation Scholarships

The Montana 4-H Foundation is a dedicated organization that supports a variety of 4-H initiatives. These initiatives encompass a broad range of areas including healthy living, citizenship, leadership, and science, engineering, and technology. The Foundation's mission is to assist 4-H youth by raising private funds, managing financial resources, and partnering with the MSU Extension Service. This partnership aims to fund educational opportunities for Montana 4-H youth, volunteer leaders, and staff.
The Foundation also provides scholarships and grants, which serve as opportunities for both youth and adults to enhance their skills and maximize their positive impacts on their respective communities.
Announcement of Scholarships:
The Montana 4-H Foundation is pleased to announce that the winners of the Montana 4-H Scholarships will be recognized at the Montana 4-H Congress. This event will take place on the MSU campus in July. Please note that as a condition of receiving the scholarship, each recipient or their appointee must agree to attend the Montana 4-H Congress closing banquet for recognition.
Application Process:
To apply for the Montana 4-H scholarships, applicants need only complete one Montana 4-H scholarship application. This application can be used to apply for multiple Montana 4-H scholarships. The scholarship application should be completed via the Application platform on or before February 14, 2024. All applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation, with one of the letters being from your County 4-H Agent. Please note that the awarding of Montana 4-H scholarships is contingent on the availability of funds.

The Montana 4-H Foundation is proud to offer a variety of scholarships. These include the Anton and Helga Sundsted Pioneer Scholarship, the Barbara Edens Memorial Scholarship, the Bob and Margaret King Memorial 4-H Scholarship, and many more.
