Montana 4-H Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Sponsored by Montana 4-H Foundation

The Montana 4‑H Foundation supports 4‑H programs that help young people grow in healthy living, citizenship, leadership, and science, engineering and technology. Its mission is simple and focused: “to help 4‑H youth by raising private funds, managing financial resources and partnering with the MSU Extension Service to fund educational opportunities for Montana 4‑H youth, volunteer leaders and staff.”

Why this matters
- Scholarships and grants from the Foundation give both youth and adults the chance to build skills and increase their positive impact on their communities. These awards help cover costs for education, leadership opportunities and program activities that might otherwise be out of reach.

How to apply
- You only need to complete one Montana 4‑H scholarship application to be considered for multiple Foundation scholarships.
- Submit your application via the Application platform on or before February 14.
- Awards are made based on the availability of funds.

Announcement of winners
- Scholarship recipients will be recognized at Montana 4‑H Congress on the MSU campus in July. Attendance at Congress is not required to receive a scholarship.
- Recipients will also be acknowledged on social media, the Foundation website, and through press releases.
