It pays to be a member of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association. The Alabama Cattlemen’s Foundation awards scholarships each year—funded by purchases of the “Cowboy” vanity tag and by generous private family donations. Hundreds of students have benefited; you should consider applying.

High school seniors

A few tips from a teacher
- Read each scholarship’s eligibility requirements before applying so you don’t miss a specific criterion.
- Prepare transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a short statement about your goals well before the November 2 deadline.
- If you’re unsure which scholarship fits you, apply for the ones for which you clearly meet the eligibility—there are many options.
