At Pretty Photoshop Actions, we understand the pivotal role higher education plays in shaping our personal and professional lives. We are thrilled to announce the continuation of our annual Pretty Photoshop Actions $500 scholarship. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to college and university students, helping them to further their education and reach their goals.

ANNOUNCEMENT AND DISBURSEMENT OF SCHOLARSHIP

• The deadline for scholarship applications is October 15th each year. The winning entry will be featured on the Pretty Actions Blog.
• The winner will be notified via email approximately four weeks after the deadline.
• All scholarship entries will be meticulously evaluated by a panel of judges from Pretty Presets & Actions.
• The scholarship amount of $500 USD will be disbursed to the annual winner in the form of a co-payable check. This check will be mailed to the college or university the winning student is attending.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants are required to research and write an essay-style Adobe Photoshop tutorial of at least 800 words. This tutorial should include original screenshots and photos to illustrate your points. The tutorial can be based on any of the following topics:

Choose one of the following topics for your tutorial essay:

1. A How-To tutorial using Photoshop or Overlays for Photoshop.
2. A unique photography-related tutorial.
3. Favorite tips for enhancing color in Photoshop.
4. Photoshop overlay ideas for adding a wow factor to your photos.
5. How Photoshop has revolutionized photography.

Please ensure your essay is grammatically correct and punctuated properly.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The following are the eligibility criteria for student entries:

1. Applicants should currently be in their senior year of high school;
2. Or transitioning from high school to a college or university;
3. Or already enrolled in a college or university within the United States or Canada.
4. Employees and their immediate family members of Pretty Lightroom Presets and Actions are not eligible to apply.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Please email your essay in Microsoft Word document or plain text format to scholarship@photoshopactions.com.
• Include your full name, contact telephone number, email address, and mailing address. Rest assured, your contact information will be kept confidential and will not be shared.
• You can review our privacy policy here.
• Include the name and mailing address of the financial aid office of the college or university you are currently attending or plan to attend after high school.
• Attach a headshot photo of yourself in .JPG or .PNG format that is at least 300 pixels wide.
• If we do not receive all the requested information by the deadline, your submission may be disqualified.
