Overview
The National Beta Scholarship Program helps Senior Beta members pay for college. Each year the program awards more than $300,000 across about 260 scholarships for active 12th‑grade members.

How to start (what you’ll need)
1. Go to scholarship.betaclub.org beginning November 3, 2025.
2. Sign in to the application with your National Beta membership ID and your last name.
- If you don’t know your membership ID, ask your National Beta sponsor or contact the National Office (see the Beta website for the correct email/phone).
3. Be ready to upload:
- High school transcript (official or unofficial)
- ACT or SAT score report (a screenshot is acceptable)
- Any other documents requested in the form

Phase 1 — Application contents (required for all applicants)
Complete the online form with:
- Contact information
- Academic information
- Unweighted GPA
- ACT or SAT score (upload for verification)
- High school transcript
- Club activity (National Beta)
- National Beta events attended
- Leadership roles and National Beta awards
- Service hours (listed by project) and your role in each
- Resume
- Other extracurricular activities
- Service hours outside of National Beta
- Awards or honors outside of National Beta

Notes about Phase 1
- All documentation will be verified for authenticity.
- Applicants selected to receive at least $1,000 will be notified by email. Winners will also be posted online and on National Beta social media.
- Decisions about semifinalists are final; there is no appeals process and no application feedback will be provided.

Phase 2 — Semifinalists (top 100)
If you’re named one of the top 100 semifinalists, you’ll be asked to submit additional materials to be considered for the top awards (one $20,000, one $15,000, one $10,000, one $8,000, one $6,000, and five $2,500 awards). Required items include:
- One sponsor recommendation letter explaining why the student deserves the scholarship
- 1–3 candidate evaluations (focused on character, leadership, service, and academics)
- Two student essays
- Work history, if applicable

Timeline / Important dates
- Applications open: November 3, 2025
- Applications close: January 15, 2026 (11:59 PM EST)
- Semifinalists announced: February 12, 2026
- Semifinalist materials due: March 15, 2026
- Winners announced: May 1, 2026

Teacher tips (so you don’t lose out)
- Start early. Collect transcripts, test screenshots, and references well before the deadline.
- Keep copies of every document you upload.
- Ask your sponsor for the recommendation early and give them a reminder a week before the semifinalist materials are due.
- Proofread your essays and have a teacher or counselor check them.
